Yes I did that - had 82% free resources.

Replaced my DX2-66 with a DX4-100. 
 
BTW the problem has now been fixed. I had to uninstall WPWIN first and 
_then_ install it. 
 
Still no idea what caused the problem in the first place but its working 
fine again now :)
