->
->
-> Many years ago in this echo, and also in the CIVIL_LIB echo, a
discussion came
-> up about homosexuals and their `agenda'.
->
->
-> When I raised objections to the homosexual crowd's push to legitimize
what is
-> in truth nothing more than a sexual deviation...

Gotta think about that sentence. "Legitimize" is not exactly what they were
doing, it was to end the blind intolerance against them. ("Let's go down
town and beat up the queers...they don't fight back!" I've actually heard
that more than once...(but never heard of it actually being done)...and
that was in the 40's!

A sexual deviation is an accurate phrase. A persistent part of all man's
recorded history...and so many excell in the arts...there just might be a
genetic REASON for their presence. (sigh) Sexual deviation might also
ascribed to Tantric ritual and practicing Kundalini...

, I was cursed, reviled, accused
-> of `homophobia', yadida yadida.

-> I pointed out that it wouldn't be long before homosexuality would be
pushed
-> into our schools. I was called a liar, an extremist, and a lot of other
-> things.

-> So....read it and weep:
->
->
-> Welcome to The Patriot Post Monday Brief - Vol. 09 No. 23
->
->
-> Village Academic Curriculum: 'Tolerance' Forced on Kids
-> The Alameda, California, public school board voted last week, 3-2...

(Yawn.)

-> a "Safe Schools" curriculum that will introduce pupils in the first
through
-> fifth grades to homosexual -- or what they prefer to call lesbian, gay,
-> bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) -- content.

Whatever that means.

 The real kicker to the story is
-> that because the board's legal counsel does not consider the
controversial
-> curriculum to be health or sex education, parents do not have the option
of
-> withdrawing their children from the courses.

They do when it comes to health or sex education? (trying to become
interested) ...

The power, weirdness, and diversity of school-boards is a doleful topic, as
is education in general in North America.

School boards? Congress!

-> The curriculum includes books like "And Tango Makes Three" for second
graders,
-> where two male penguins raise their young. The "Who's in a Family"
discussion
-> guide asks teachers to help first graders identify different
"types" of
-> family:

I don't entheustically endorse that book, but I see nothing wrong with that
(Assuming that penguins DO that :-) - If penguins DON'T, then those pushing
the book should be fired as propagandists. )

My position is: Gays exist in every society. They should not be hassled, or
treated ubfairly. They should leave me alone and for GOD'S sake, stop
having those awful parades!
->
->

-> look like this, but ask students for other examples of what a family can
look
-> like," the guide states.

Oh. Oh. The writer of THAT 'suggestion' is gay. :-)
I don't think school should push a diversity of gender , but do a diversity
of religion. Naa. Leave religion alone. It never intruded at school;
Christmas Songs were songs of Christmas, the religious aspect acceptable
but  definitely undefined...
Now, if we are going to be fair and just, and really tolerant, we are going
to have to celebrate other religious holidays: 365 days a year.(I've
misplaced a calendar that listed a few every day...) Now THAT would involve
closing down the schools 365 days a year.
That might not be such a bad idea, but family's with small children
wouldn't stand for it...

I do wonder why all these celebs are 'coming out' ...why tell ME about it?
Why do you think the world is interested in your gender?
