TS> [answer a phone call, create a batch file] JW> What I've written is a small frontend which answers the phone JW> collects data and then passes the baton. TS> returns terminally. JW> Binkley/2 does it exactly as I did. TS> No, it does not. You _have_ to declare the BBS calling TS> method as "BBS spawn", which is exactly what JdeBP meant By 'passing the baton' I meant either spawning or system command. What I need is an example of how to communicate with the comport (c/c++) . I can't find how in Borland's docs. By communicate with the comport, I mean: How do I collect data sent by the comport and how do I send it data? For example, when I get the 2nd RING, I want to send the comport an ATA command. The program I wrote for DOS worked fine collecting thd CID info and then spawning to a batch file which called the BBS at the proper speed. I want to write a c/c++ OS/2 program that will do the same thing.
