The most I've paid for a single record (not a record set) was $15. I'd been looking for the d*mn thing for over 25 years and finally located a copy (1957, 'The Creature' by Buchanan & Ancell - which I'm sure no one around here ever heard of). Found a couple of neat LP's at a local estate sale. Original Chancellor (Philadelphia label) issues of the first LP by Fabian and the first LP by Frankie Avalon. Also a copy of the original 1952 Columbia 78rpm release of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" by Jimmy Boyd. I suspect they're worth quite a bit more than what I paid for them (I got all of the records - LP's, 45's and 78's - being sold for $5). ---* Origin: Bob's Soapbox, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, USA (1:379/103.104) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/103 1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
