| subject: | Info on old Serial to parallel converter |
Digging thru my junk box, I stumbled upon an old Inmac gizmo: SP-64 Serial-To-Parallel Converter and 64K Buffer Product No. 8149-1 It's got a coax power jack, and no indication of what voltage polarity it wants. There's also a 8 position DIP switch inside (probably for setting serial parameters). Before just tossing it, I figured I'd ask if anybody knew anything about it. If I could get the info, I could actually use it with some other equally ancient gear (like actual *terminals*). --- FMailX 1.60* Origin: Shadowgard (1:105/50) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 105/50 360 106/2000 633/267 |
