SA> Working mornings at the high school and afternoons
SA> at the middle school is confusing because I have to
SA> switch hats every day to pick up on the other
SA> projects. The principal's idea of my position does
SA> not match the board-of-ed's idea of what I should
 SA> be doing.
SA> I am just wondering, are all TCs driven to distraction like this or
SA> am I special? I have heard stories of TCs quitting
SA> due to the work load. I have also heard that some
SA> TCs also have to teach classes.
SA> I would like to hear from other TCs.
That has happened to me also, I also have to teach. This past year I had
seven periods with no prep, so it was quite rough. I have been trying to get
old surplus computers running for classrooms in my "spare" time. I have to
help teachers with programs, balky printers, etc..

I think you need to put your projects in order from most important to
least--leave room for emergencies, that might help.
