So you believe the woman is the sole decision maker here ?  And if the 
child is allowed to live then the father becomes responsible for support 
?  But from conception until birth, the decision is the woman's ?  

If so, am I the only one who thinks this sounds strange ?

You may not be but you espouse some very strongly held liberal beliefs.  
The thing I find so odd is how many folks tout liberal beliefs but don't 
want to be called a liberal.  I don't see the same thing with 
conservatives.  Most conservatives I know are proud to be called 
conservatives.
