subject: PRINTER WITH WP/WIN 5.2

I know from prior experience that an HP 600 series printer/driver will
not interface with WP/WIN 5.2. WP reports "Out of Memory" error when
attempting to load the driver that comes with this printer.

Questions is...does anyone know about the Canon line of printers. For
example the BJC4300 or BJC620? Will the drivers for those printers load
in WP/WIN 5.2.

Thanks for any helpful response.

When EARL enlightened ALL about PRINTER WITH WP/WIN 5.2

There's a fairly simple fix for that. Simply delete all the old printer
resource files before loading the new one. I had dozens of users
running WP/WIN 5.2 and HP600 printers with absolutely no problems.

Very, Very interesting. When I called Word Perfect Support they even
said, "Nope, can't be done with 5.2.

Steve I'll give that a try. I think I can figure out how to delete the
resource files.

Thanks, and Happy New Year.

Well, I deleted all the .wrs and .prs files (hid them actually) so that
WordPerfect will not find them, and removed all Windows printer drivers
except HP682c and QuickLink Fax driver.

Still cannot get WP/WIN 5.2 to select the Windows driver for the HP682C.
I wonder if I clarified that before, I specifically want to use the
Windows driver for the 682C. The WordPerfect driver for that printer is
a cripple.

Be glad to try any other suggestions you can offer.

Thanks again.

Hallo Michel.
c:
cd win95
cd command
sys a: c:
Klopt dit??
Groeten John Vissers.
