There was a message in rec.equestrian about a trainer who won't allow her 
students to wear the new approved helmets!!  Doesn't like they way they 
look....can you believe it!!!  AND, worst of all, there were people who 
defended her!
I learned something new there, though...thought the AHSA had made mandatory 
approved helmets for children under a certain age at AHSA approved 
shows...guess they never carried through with it...honest to God!  Too much 
controversy, etc.  I mean, give me a break!!  I think Pony Club does require 
them, but now I'm not so sure about that either.  Anyone know?
