Tim left an indelible impression on me.
First, he actually added a feature to TG I suggested (the ALT-1 forced
download ¨feature). I asked for that because I found myself frequently
(and still fairly ¨frequent to this day) in a chat and wanted to send
something to the user, but ¨couldn't. He listened to me, thought it was a
good idea and implemented it.
To this day, I still enjoy the thought of that because he listened to me.
Not ¨many people did that in the beginning (and few do now, still, but I
bitch ¨enough to get them to listen ;).
He also inspired me to learn Pascal and write in it, something I still do
and ¨enjoy quite a bit, although it's not as much as I'd like.
Tim and I talked privately too and he was and still is a friend to me, even
¨though we've never met.
TG/2 is still working perfectly here.
Later,
Sean
