"Responding to" versus "attacking for."  If he happens
to be referred to as
a clown in the course of a response on some issue, that is pretty mild to
be considered an "attack" compared to some of the other hostility in
fidonet, and it is based on seeing over a decade of his clowning.  Clowns
are entertaining.

As for your comments to Jeff, I decided in 2008 that if Huckabee or Romney
got the R nomination I was going to vote for the D no matter who it was,
even if it was Dodd or Biden or some other walking joke.  And if either
gets the nomination in 2012, I will consider actively working in the
campaign for Obama's re-election.  He has been as bad as I expected, but no
worse than I expected.  Otherwise I will probably continue wasting votes on
libertarians.
