exactly... no one has to be in fidonet to use FTN software and methods...
the fidonet nodelist defines fidonet... nothing more and nothing less...
currently, zones 1 thru 6 _are_ fidonet... if Z6C demises Z6 then fidonet
will be zones 1 thru 5...
