If that were true, then people would be allowed to go nude in the United
States when they were not doing unsafe activities, and yet, people are
required to wear clothes whenever in public. I really think it is a
religious issue, not a public safety issue.
GH> Do you wear a batting helmet or cup when playing baseball?
I wear all kinds of protective gear all the time when doing all sorts of
activities. Keep in mind, I'm not against safety gear. I'm not against
helmets. What I am against is government regulations that decide what I may
do with my own body. I want to be able to choose whether or not to ride a
bike with a helmet on my head. And for that matter, it wouldn't bother me if
people rode their bicycles in the nude either.
