ST>-> The uninsured

ST>Let's talk about that number for a moment, the 44,000 number. You
ST>politely declined it's authenticity. John stated something less
ST>elegant. Nonetheless, let's talk about that number before moving
ST>forward.

ST>It's true. I made a mistake when I typed the number. It was 45,000.
ST>Sorry, I won't make that mistake again.

ST>WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Nearly 45,000 people die in the United States
ST>each year -- one every 12 minutes -- in large part because they lack
ST>health insurance and can not get good care, Harvard Medical School
ST>researchers found in an analysis released on Thursday [17 Sep 09].

ST>On one hand, we have the republicans forcing an empty solution down
ST>our throat, and on the other hand - we have a solution which
ST>provides health insurance to my friends and family who currently
ST>don't have any.

ST>You guys realize we trail behind countries like France in providing
ST>basic health
ST>and human services to our citizens? We're pretty low on that list.
ST>You guys bash the program but you don't argue for a better solution.
ST>I'm telling you that human lives are at stake and arguing against
ST>solutions that provide these services isn't productive (it's all
ST>mho).

We trail behind France for providing cleaner electricity but you can
thank your liberal friends for that. Human lives are at stake with
abortion but we are above 32 million and counting. That doesn't stop
the left. I don't get all choked up and emotional over how you feel.
One of the main reason that so many people may not be able to afford the
current medical insurance is because they lack the education to get a
job which would allow them to pay for it. Since the liberals took hold
of our education system the quality of output has continued to drop.
Now you want to destroy our medical system. If this abomination passes,
your 45,000 number will climb, but don't let that stop a good liberal
rant on feelings.
