That might be true when talking about OWL, but is it correct to call MFC
proprietary? It is included with the compilers from Microsoft, Watcom and
Symantec (and maybe some more that I don't remember/know about).
Sure, Microsoft is the ones that writes MFC, and decides what it should
contain. But on the other hand, that is true for all the SDK functions too,
so the situation is almost the same.
