Yamato was *not* caught in a time rift.
USS Bozeman was caught in a time rift, and is a Soyuz class frigate USS 
Defiant was caught in a dimenional interphase, and left into another 
universe, and was a Constitution class heavy cruiser
Yamato was destroyed by an alien probe (which just happens to come from the 
civilization that the renegade Jem'haddar who blew up Upper Pilon 3 on DSN, 
retrieved material to repair a farcasting portal of their manufacture)
Thanks for reminding me of the Venture.
USS Venture, sent as lead ship of the relief task force set to relieve DSN's 
siege by a Klingon fleet.
