Precisely why I ask people to send me netmail. Although with the number of
responses recently, I'm "almost" tempted to post them again.

Actually the "routines" were fine. It was my implementation
of them that
was less than ideal. Coming directly from a dos "learn it yourself"
background, I basically attempted to use the routines the same as I had under
DOS.
I'm still distributing them unaltered although admittedly this may not be
in the best interest of those I'm sending them to. I just haven't had the time
to redo the "sample" program in any readable format. Perhaps
though I will do
so in the not too distant future.
I just have to thank goodness for the API's. While there are some calling
convention differences between the two compilers (Speed and VP), both are VERY
similar to "C" by necessity, so this forum is of use even if we don't
understand the "C" code itself.
