On 10-12-09, SHANNON TALLEY said to TIM RICHARDSON: > That number of yours has a lot of holes in it. Where did that number come ST>Read my reply to Earl. For what? That doesn't give a credible source, either. > But they fail to mention *how large a part*.....nor do they explain how > they come by their numbers. ST>The reporter didn't give a detailed account of the facts, but since it's a ST>Harvard study, they will have that information publically available. ST>Since you are so curious, why do you ask them? Having knowledge about how ST>these types of studies and formulas are done, I'm comfortable with their ST>results. > Oh well! Harvard! *That* closes off any questioning of the numbers. We all know how reliable and unbiased Harvard is! TR>Um.....`excuse me'? *The republicans* forcing an empty solution down our TR>throats? ST>Yes, they don't have a solution - and that's the point. Before The clown in the White House got elected, there wasn't this big a problem in the first place. ST>Remember when our president and that ass shouted " You Lie " ? How can I forget! The one person in the whole chamber who had the guts to call the clown from the White House on his lies. ST>During that same moment, the republicans were waiving around pieces of ST>paper. Do you know what was written on them? Nothing. They were blank, ST>empty, void of words (that's all information that is publically available). Yes.....I know. It was one of the defining moments of that whole evening, aside from Joe Wilson calling the clown from the White House on his lies. You obviously have no clue as to what that meant. I'll clue you in: It was a silent gesture meant to tell the clown from the White House that he has no plan. Nothing. He has a document over one thousand pages long that is full of stuff nobody understands (not even a large number of those individuals who inhabit Congress, who happen to be *lawyers*!), neither he nor his blind followers will even read, will not put out in a forum that makes it available to the people to see whats in it, and is pushing with all his might to get it passed. That alone, the extreme rhetoric, the scare tactics, the refusal to let the people see whats in it, should make a sensible person want to back away from it for a time, until its fully understood. By the way.......I think one of the *biggest* reasons they don't want the whole, complete `legislative-language' bill seen by the voters, is because we might see what they will be attaching to it as `riders'. But the whole thing is sort of scary. ST>The republicans want the same-old - same-old, no solutions for the masses ST>without the means in which to afford it or the problems with being ST>rejected. Most of the republicans see that....whatever the `solution' to the health care problem is.....*government* ain't it! Whenever government gets involved in something, they only muck it up. And if its already mucked up.....government will muck it up even worse. > The last time I looked......Obama was a democrat. So is Chris Dodd, so is > Pelosi, so is Reid! And this whole issue is being pushed by *the > democrats*! ST>The public option, yes. You were confused as to what I was referring in ST>this post. The only thing thats `confused' is this whole health care thing. This was tried by the Clintons. It got rejected. This time its being rejected by a cross section of the people all over the country. Although we are (of course) being labeled as `racists' for objecting to having this shoved on us without even so much as being allowed to see what they are trying to force on us. By the way......I recently read somewhere (the WSJ?) that around 85% of Americans already have some form of health care, and that the clown in the White House wants to spend almost trillion dollars to insure only about 15% of the people! --- *Durango b301 #PE** Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 11/200 331 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 5030/1256 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
