Whoa! TS answered me!? :) 

Basically I wanted to make a custom lastcaller script. Writing caller
info to a text file, along with my own added fields, and read in that
info to create the custom LC screen. Little example below... not using
real commands, cuz I don't know them all yet :)

WRITE name
write baud
write time
write date
write custom title
write custom level

then later
read name
read baud
read date
etc...

PUTNL "$name$      $baud$ etc"

Also was thinking of a custom signature system, but haven't researched
it to see if I could append the sig to the temp message file. Since I
could not figure out how to read from a file, I haven't looked further.
