Bobzo is reduced to quibbling that since Hardball doesn't fit his definition of "broadcast" it had to be Limbaugh's comments ABOUT Matthews' outing Shearer that motivated Buchanan. Of course, he can't show any evidence that Buchanan even listened to Limbaugh. He goes so far as to imply that broadcast requires one way communications - that a HAM radio transmission would be broadcasting if your intended recipient failed to answer. What he fails to include is that one way broadcasting for the purpose of disseminating information meant for the general public without allowing two way communication is what the Part 97 prohibits. The FCC refers to that as "broadcasting," but since the FCC doesn't have the authority to define the word, it is not a good defense for the Bobs. Also, Bobzo's claim that the people who build and maintain cable infrastructure aren't licensed so they don't know what "broadcast" means is just silly. Since they work on FCC regulated infrastructure, they are indeed licensed. Anyone who can read a dictionary is able to see that Bobzo and Ackley are trying to make a distinction without a difference.
