Yes.. And the Italians hung several of our crews that came
down over Foggia...
You should read the recent defense of the ITALIAN lawyers
engaged by the crew... The cable went to about 6,000 feet up
the mauntain, The cable car was not on the Italian maps, the
cables and area were not marked in any manner as normally done
for power lines, etc.
An AWAC aircraft was tarcking them in the area and says
their radar track show them on course and altitude...
So who is right...
We have carried the weight of the UN on our shoulders
and it is about time others shar the load... There is more
unrest and terrorism than ever in history.. Too many countries
to name...
