 Roger brought that message to my attention. I was a bit confused
about it. Why on Earth would anybody want to cross post from the
Internet here something so mundane? What's so newsworthy about
discrimination? Happens every day all the time. Broadcasting incidents
doesn't do anything to resolve them. If anything it only heightens
tensions all around. I'm wondering too why the people on the tape were
taped at all. Odd. They were just ignorants is all and you can't fix
that except perhaps publishing info that is free for all informing
people about 'hidden' fishabilities. Disabilities that don't show.

Frankly if you need to use a disabled parking spot and don't look like
you do, it's nobody's business. If somebody does confront you,  and
this info is given by Dear Abby on this issue btw, simply tell them
you have a doctor's permit and they're free to report you and fidn out
that it is indeed on record with the police. One need NOT tell a
stranger their life history/explain their aliment.

What makes people nosy about apparent mis use of disabled parking
spaces is that so many DO abuse the use of those parking spots.

Some states have the disabled use stickers on their cars. But then
again some abled family members use that car and the space. hmm. What
can you do? As Abby said you can get the license number , report it
and see if there is indeed a permit with the police.

IMHO however and sadly, few people want to bother doing that. They'd
rather gripe instead. IMHO again some people ENJOY griping. They can't
yell at their boss, and know better to yell at their kids or their
wife ... so they just find somebody else to take their unhappiness out
on.  OR they just don't have enough to do...
