Hi Scott,
About "MS-Kermit on TeleGard" of March 10:
MS> ...i can't but dream of the day when `ZMoDem' and `Kermit' can be
MS> evaluated side by side... ...worked well enough to submit a
MS> `Kermit.PDF' file on January 15... ...`Kermit' cps figure (5K3)...
SA> Well being a thread months old I've forgotten the details.
Somehow i thought you were using Off-Line Mail Reader SoftWare: it
helps when one deals with any topic which may span over weeks or months!
%-b,
SA> I believe since then there was talk of kermit in the echo so I'm
SA> sure if you read the messages since you left you'll see the posts.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I had another correspondance already put on hold (waiting to resume
course) when you wrote me the last two posts and i don't see any sign of
a `Kermit' topic back to life soon. It must be some misunderstanding...
SA> Watch it, that evil moderator has that rule...
MS> ...let him ask 1st!
SA> Yep Scott Adams TG_Sup Echo Moderator
MS> You too? I thought there was only one moderator around...
SA> Yeah... That moderator (me) tends to have a double personality.
MS> I've met moderators who make themselves more obvious than others...
SA> Well being the moderator I have to tip toe sometimes...
I seem to grasp the meaning of some English expressions only once i
am done reading the overall text - which makes ~OLMR~ SoftWare even more
usefull at times! Well, in this case "tip toe" would refer to difficult
things to accomplish, like when ballet dancers must manage with toes and
gravity - which is why i come to argue that some shoes aren't obvious to
wear and neither would my poor toes fit comfortably in one of those! :)
Salutations,
Michel Samson
