According to the Feds, if you own two homes, your PRINCIPAL residence is
whichever one you say it is.
If you live in NYC and own a vacation home in Florida, you can claim the
Florida home as your principal residence, get a Fla. CCW, and under
this new, proposed law, it will be good in NYC.
We're seeing a similar thing here in New York already. People who live
in Westchester County, which DOESN'T issue CCW's, but have cabins up in
the Catskills or Adirondacks, are claiming the summer home as their
principal residence and getting a CCW there. Said CCW is valid in
Westchester.
