To whom it may concern;

My name is Gene Olson and I am investigating www.familydiscovery.com for
possible internet fraud.

I am looking for any individual who has been involved with this company. I
am looking for people who have paid money to this company or have had their
sites linked to by this company. If any other possible crimes have been
committed by this company I would be glad to hear about that as well. If you
feel you have been cheated by this company in any way feel free to contact
me.

Please do not contact me telling me this company does not exist or that you
do not know what I am talking about. The company does exist but has
recently changed servers and it may take a while for the site to show up on
some services. Also some services block access to sites especially ones
that have the kind of history this site does. I am only interested in
hearing from people who have legitimate concerns or would like additional
information.

I have not personally been ripped off by this site but have already been in
touch with many individuals regarding this site. I have been in contact with
the Secret Service and police from at least three different states. I am
not affiliated with any local or federal law agency. I am simply an
individual who does not like to see people getting ripped off.

If you have issues with www.familydiscovery.com but do not wish to work with
me directly I would be more than happy to supply you with names and numbers
of individuals who already have some understanding of this case. The only
reason I am not making those names and numbers available here is to prevent
crank calls from flooding the offices of the state and federal law agencies
working on this case. I was specifically asked by one individual on the
case to not disclose their phone number unless I was contacted directly.

While investigating www.familydiscovery.com a second company has come to my
attention. This company may or may not be running illegal operations. I
have been in direct contact with the company but they seem unwilling to
share even the slightest information regarding their company. This company
is doing business with Amazon.com but due to the way the company site looks
and the reactions of the owner(s)? I have a hard time saying they are not at
all involved in something shady. Like I say, I tried to contact them
directly but they seemed to only be willing to speak with law enforcement
agencies who are now involved. The company's name is Global Data CD
Publishers. They operate the site www.gencd.com and are suppliers to
Amazon.com. Anyone with any information regarding this company (good or
bad) is encouraged to contact me. I have no proof that this company is
doing anything wrong but at the same time the company has given me no
information to lead me to believe they are innocent either. I have a hard
time believing that a company looking for distributors of their products
would be unwilling to talk with someone about those products.

My contact information is:
gene_olson@hotmail.com
(877) 319-9699 Toll free!
(515) 237-0014 If you live outside the US where the toll free number is not
available.

You are free to call any time of the day or night. The phone has no
answering machine but someone is normally home. If no one answers it means
that I am probably asleep (I sleep strange hours.) However, if you really
need to contact me keep calling and I should eventually answer the phone.

If you are thinking this sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone you
are not alone. The internet is a new arena and I am constantly surprised by
the tactics of scam artists. Hopefully this issue will be resolved quickly.
I would like to go back to what I normally do as well. That's playing
computer games and surfing the web if you care.

Sincerely,
Gene
