~>> No one said Buchanan had anything in his possession when he
~>> was caught.
EC> Just another laughable false denial from Bob. It is an
EC> easy clue to use, in fact. When Klahn starts a sentence
EC> with "no one said" that is a good clue that HE said it and
EC> is now trying to run away from it.
BK>> Pat Buchanan's brother AAMOF, went after that innocent man, with
BK>> a knife. The only thing standing between Limbaugh and guilt for
BK>> the death of an innocent man was the police catching Buchanan's
BK>> brother.
EC> . . .
BK>> And slashing the tires does imply a knife. Which he
BK>> apparently had when he was caught.
EC> In reality he could not APPEAR to have possession of a
EC> knife "when he was caught" because he was not "caught" at
EC> all.
BFD. The best you can do is one error when working from memory,
compared to your constant distortion and twisting of the story
as clearly shown in the postings.
EC> He turned himself in days later. And the very idea
EC> that he would APPEAR to have a knife is absurd, unless
EC> someone saw him with a letter opener or a metal ruler and
EC> then said "it LOOKED like he had a knife."
This merely shows Croasmun has a problem with English
comprehension. Apparently had does not mean he was seen with it,
but that it is a reasonable conclusion.
EC> "Slashing the tires" means that something was used to
EC> damage the sidewall or the valve. Trying to use a pocket
No, slashing is a more specific form of damaging.
EC> knife or a switchblade might be just as likely to damage
EC> the blade or your hand as the tire. Kathleen Willey's
EC> tires were slashed by means of having a series of nails
EC> sunk into them, as if by a construction nail gun. The only
And that is *NOT* slashing by any definition I know. Slashing
requires an extended cut along the surface.
OTOH, now Croasmun is suggesting Buchanan stalked Shearer armed
with a nail gun? Wow! That answers it all.
EC> aspect that we can be fairly sure of is that it was a
EC> damaged valve or a fairly small hole, rather than a gaping
EC> hole being gouged into the tire, because the house guests
EC> heard air slowly seeping out of the tires rather than a
EC> loud bang of the tire being punctured.
Actually, I don't recall that at all. There are quite a few web
postings on it, of varying reliablilty, but I just rechecked
Kovach's book, and I do not find it there. I am using the web
version, which is not complete, but it is linked as I gave you.
BTW, since the guests were confronting Buchanan outside, how
woudl they hear air slowly seeping? If they were in the house
how would they hear it also? It must have been a big leak, or
thin wall. Very thin walls. That and a quiet group.
EC> But Bob says Buchanan used a knife. And Bob says that
EC> Buchanan appeared to be carrying that knife when the police
EC> caught him in time to save Shearer's life. Bob says a lot
EC> of things. And then he runs away from what he says.
Earl keeps distorting what I said. He displays either
dishonesty, or difficulty with the english language. Appeared to
have is not the same as apparently had. I said the latter.
EC> And Bob will keep on doing those things. It is not just
EC> what he does. It is who he is.
And Earl will keep distorting, misquoting, trying to hide the
facts, and outright lying. It's not what he does, it is who he
is.
Just use the link I gave and read the book.
