The parent company was Canadian, but where was the plant that actually made
the dog food? Further, the wheat gluten that tainted the dog food was from
China.

 My point was- it's not

I've caught a little flak from time to time regarding my wood stove being
the primary heat source in my home with the subject of the amount of CO2
released. I've countered this by saying that, first, I've never cut a live
tree to provide firewood, only trees thrat are already down and that the
CO2 released is the same amount that would be released as the wood rotted
on the ground. Meanwhile, our esteemed state legislature is considering a
bill that would let billboard owners clear-cut trees that obstruct the view
of their signs, these trees being in the state rights-of-way. This upsets
me; it is the tree's duty to absorb the CO2 in the air, as we know, and to
produce the oxygen we need, yet folks have tried to provide me with a
ticket on the guilt train for heating with wood. Sorry, I'm not availabke
for the tour this week, I must split next year's firewood...

I'm impressed with the incidents where at least two conferences on global

I didn't either; I said "Allow", not "Cause"

IF that is true then

The US food and drug administration, that's who.
