James Rossiter claimed his first pole position in the British Formula 3
Championship with a very strong performance in qualifying for found three.
His fastest time was nearly three tenths ahead of Danilo Dirani in second
who led a queue of fifteen cars that were covered by under one second.
Nelson Piquet, the championship leader after two rounds, lines up in third
place.

Fairuz Fauzy was the early leader with his fastest lap of the session,
ultimately good enough for eleventh, before he was knocked off the top by
Adam Carroll's fastest lap. Lucas di Grassi also had a brief spell at the
top before the times started to tumble.
