Hi, Gord! Recently you wrote in a message to All:

Sounds as if you've been having quite a time of it lately.... :-/

Hmm. Side effects from chemo and/or radiation, maybe? It
strikes me that he must be in grade seven or eight by now... meaning the
academic stuff he has to deal with may have suddenly become a lot more
complex. Hormonal changes may have something to do with the condition of
the skin too. And although this may seem like a dumb question, I am
tempted to ask whether his vision & hearing have been checked
regularly. When I was doing learning assistance that was the first
question I asked. It turned out to be significant in many cases.... :-)

Tell your Dad we're rooting for him...

And the same goes for your cousin. :-)

Okay. I won't ask.... ;-)
GH> Sounds like Nora is getting better in leaps and bounds.
GH> Great to hear that.
She's still plodding along in her own inimitable fashion, and
once or twice a month we see a breakthrough. One of Nora's strengths is
the ability to hang in there. Her occupational therapist noted, in a
recent report, that Nora is making progress even now... i.e. at a stage
when the majority of people have given up trying. I find her comment quite
encouraging because I don't have the same basis for comparison. While I am
pleased to hear it, however, I can't say I'm surprised. It's more like
"Thank goodness, somebody understands".... :-))
Thanks for checking in! Take care & keep in touch.... :-)
