Too bad you dislike rebates so much.  Today's paper has some pretty good
deals on HDD,  all after rebate.  Looks like the most GB for the buck is
at OfficeMax,  with a WD 120GB for $60 AR.

We visited our daughter and SIL in Alabama last weekend - - he bought
surplus from where he works an "obsolete" server for cheap.  Rackmount,
about 7 feet tall. Has a 15" monitor and keyboard/mouse in a pullout
drawer. Has about 16 hot-swap SCSI drives showing, RAID arrays, looks
like mostly 9.1GB.  He says it has a GB of memory in there, and quad
400MHz processors. He didn't know if they were PII or Xeon.  I asked if
it had redundant power supply and he surprised me by saying he didn't
think so.
