I want you to notice that this story of his has undergone a very large morph,
here.

There was no such *had I not been in DEEP shock.....* when we were subjected
to this little tale of his when he first began to tell it.

Before, the version was that he refused to go to medical treatment.....instead
going home and measuring himself to see if he was missing any height off of
his back!

I went through this little tale of his with him a few times, and asked some
pretty pointed questions about it.

He stated that he was lying on the ground bleeding, but the cop took him to
jail and not emergency medical treatment.

Not credible that a cop would have a seriously injured person on their hands
after a motor cycle accident, and not have that person transported first to a
medical emergency facility. Particularly if that person was bleeding, had a
serious back injury, and was going into shock. Shock is a serious situation,
and can cause death if not treated.

He stated that he strongly refused to get bailed out, but someone bailed him
out anyway against his wishes.

He also stated that he'd refused to go to any emergency medical facility, but
had insisted on being taken home instead so he could measure himself!

His continued reply to any question as to `why he had not sought treatment
after being released from jail' was that he `knew it wouldnt do any good, as
he'd already been injured for life'....or some such (it always changed each
time he told it).

Here's a couple of questions that he'll no doubt have trouble answering:

If his back was broken....how did he get up off the ground and into the police
car to be transported to jail?

If his back was broken.....how did he walk into and out of the jail when he
was arrested, and then released?

If his back was broken....how did he walk out to his friends' vehicle and
climb into it to go home?

If his back was broken.....how did he walk into his dwelling and be able to
measure his spine for missing height?
