Hello Cindy, >CH>So. What do you make of tonight's episode???? >LL>It was the Rapture. And we got Left Behind. :'( >CH>Hey all this just keeps getting weirder... >LL>"Curiouser and curiouser", as Alice would say. :) CH>"My but what big teeth you have Grandma!- Little Red I have read many different versions of "Little Red Riding Hood", some of them rated `X'. If you like movies, Sam Neil and Jennifer Lopez starred in a modern day version of "Little Red Riding Hood" which was a true horror story that would make your skin crawl. >LL>Makes sense to me. Until next week, anyway. :) >CH>Blink blink. >LL>I'll fill in some of the blanks for you between now and next week. :) CH>Lee? It's nuts right now. Others say that 'the others' just left for CH>another part of the Island... Who says the Others left for another part of the island? CH>and Ben is manipulating Locke. Who says Ben is manipulating Locke? It could be Locke manipulating Ben to think he is manipulating Locke, thus enabling Locke to get what Locke wants. CH>I don't think they're leaving, they can't now can they? Who says the Others cannot leave the island? CH>The sub is gone. We know that Locke blew up a sub. We do not know if there is another sub. Nor do we know if another sub is needed. We know an airplane comes around every now and then. We know the Others had a boat. Okay, more than one boat. Obviously, the Others were never worried about getting stranded on the island. It could be they can come and go as they please. It could be they have no desire to leave. Or, they might have found another island that holds even more secrets... CH>And anyway if Locke left the island he'd no longer be free of a wheel CH>chair... We do not know if Locke would be free of a wheel chair or not if he were to leave the island. Ben tries to manipulate Locke by trying to make Locke believe he (Locke) would need a wheel chair if he (Locke) were to leave the island. But that does not mean that Locke would need a wheel chair. CH>I think Ben wants to find out how he too can be now wheelchair free.. Who says that Ben is confined to a wheel chair? Ben could be faking it, as an appeal to sympathy, in order to get Locke's help (to learn more secrets of the island). CH>that is why he's using Locke. Locke was getting too close to figuring out the secrets of the island. Ben knew it, and could not take the chance of letting Locke remain free, else everybody on the island would know the secrets. Juliet knows more than she is telling, but is not able to figure out everything, as Locke can. Also, there is the wheelchair thing. Although it is not known if Locke would remain free of using a wheel chair if ever he were to leave the island, it is assumed that Ben needs Locke's help to understand how the island "cured" Locke. Even if that is not Ben's real reason. :) CH>Anyway what IS that black cloud thing? It was explained in the first season, by the French woman, as a security device. Although seemingly random, there have been instances where intelligence is shown. For example, Echo stared it down, living to see another day. Unfortunately, the black cloud did not fall for Echo's trick a second time. --Lee * SLMR 2.1a * Unable to locate Coffee -- Operator Halted! --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 @PATH: 123/140 500 379/1 633/267 |
