there was no other place to get the listing from other than the contact
number field... come on! i know that you are not that  and have forgotten that FD was one of the first, if not the
first, mailer to pull and use IP info from the nodelist and it did it based
on the FTSC's IP spec document... heck, i remember having to wait until
other FD beta testers got things together and set up their IP sides so that
we could really start testing transfers over the internet...
