Good morning to you Charles, how are you today ?
CA> I was trying to explain that you would have a difficult time
CA> trying to determine what "the best" system was.
In the eyes and minds of the populace at large, best is equated
to most expensive.
CA> That would describe W2K, 'mostly' working most of the time.
Have given a thought of redoing the OS. That has to be the
reason. Why would it work for me painlessly and not for you ? If
I recall well, this is a given system to you. The previous user
must have corrupted things somehow. If you use Aida, you can
find the proper numbers to revalidate your system.
CA> I can fit my OLR and editor onto one floppy disk. I don't need
CA> a flash card for that.
What is a floppy disk ? Yeak ! yeak !
I do not either but it sure is a fine way to move the folders
from system to system. USB is here to stay. And then a FC is
just as fast as your CPU will allow, no chunking-chunk of the
floppy device, it is there in a flash. Maybe that is why they
call it so ? For this, I use the 8 Mbs card that came with my
digital Canon S110, I have a 64 Mbs in there and can take over
200 pixes at my selected size and resolution.
