Hi Paul, This note is to let you know that I may not be able to pickup mail for a while. If you want the disk space, feel free to delete any mail which gets queued up in my absence. I can't tell you for sure when I will go off air, or when I will return, as this is totally beyond my control. If all goes well, you won't notice anything. It it doesn't then I may be off-air until the end of March. To cut short story medium; we are due to move into our new house on Tuesday (sorry, but it will be second hand before you get to move in) and Telecom don't have any available lines in the street. We ordered the new lines three months ago and if we are lucky they might have them installed around the 20th of March and actually working at the end of March. Until then, Telecom are giving me three mobiles, two for voice and one fixed mobile for my fax. The problem is that they have told me that the fixed mobile will be totally useless for data transmissions. Once I get the office setup, I will give it a try but that won't be until the end of next week anyway. As the actual work orders went in today to get the mobiles underway and the re-direction switched over on Tuesday, I'm expecting ALL the phones to go dead at any minute. At least I won't be disappointed when it actually happens. Brenton @EOT: ---* Origin: TestPoint (3:711/934.7) SEEN-BY: 711/934 712/610 @PATH: 711/934 |
