WG> Hello quilters,
WG> I have never quilted before. I don't want to do a full blanket, but
WG> just a small one that you hang on the wall.
Hi Wanda,
I did a similar project when I picked up quilting recently. I hadn't
made a quilt in over 30 years (and then it was on the machine). So I
made a small wall hanging (about 25" square). Turned out that the
pattern I chose was definitely *not* for beginners, but I trucked
through anyway, and it turned out real nice. :-)

WG> What do you think of this idea? I'd like to make one each for the
WG> 2 boys. Another idea with this, is to transfer a photo of Chris
WG> and Bobby and some of their friends pictures in different activities
WG> as squares.
I think this is a wonderful idea and should mean a lot to each of the
boys.
WG> Does this sound do-able to a non-quilter? I'd really like to give
WG> it a shot. They would be like memory quilts for the boys.
If it were me, I surely would do it. Just keep your pattern simple
and I don't see where you would have a problem at all.
WG> I need some help here, some encouragement! I'm a little chicken,
WG> but desparately want to try it. Thanks for any ideas and help.
Go for it!
