The trouble he was complaining about is that sometimes it doesn't. I've
experienced the same problem once or twice. I don't know the exact
circumstances that lead to the problem and I don't really remember how I
fixed it either except that it likely involved "safe mode" as someone
here suggested. However, Jean's simple solution was to reinstall the OS.
