that you won't really be able to achieve the full capabilities of the C
drive because it as to run at the same speed as the slowest device on the
cable/buss... the LBA part doesn't really effect anything drive to drive...

i think that you need to split them... put the hds as masters on different
cables and the cds as slaves behind the hard drives... this will maximize
the transfers between the hard drives and hd1 to cd2 as well as hd2 to cd1
and even between the cds if you do cd to cd copying...

IIRC, yes... thus my comment above... and splitting the drives won't do
anything to fix that because of the cdroms being 33s, too... by splitting
the drives, however, you will get faster transfers between the cables
because the IDE ATA stuff can't all talk at once... only one device on each
cable/buss can talk at a time... cable to cable stuff is the fastest...
same cable is slower...
