He probably CS>has a few funny stories of folks trying their minimal broken german on him t CS>(grin). Language and accents vary greatly in different parts of the country. And people are naturally curious to meet others from faraway places. In high school, one of my teachers was German. And he did not always use perfect English. Yet he taught English. Talk about some strange interpretations of Shakespeare. To understand it, you had to learn to appreciate German humor. Not always an easy task for Cajuns, most of whom come from a heavily-influenced French culture. :) --Lee * SLMR 2.1a * Buck Fush --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 @PATH: 123/140 500 379/1 633/267 |
