It shows that a crying mother, sister, wife,
girlfriend, et al, has a bigger sympathy factor then
the big hard unfeeling city.
There are dozens, if not hundreds, where a civil jury
has found a company or city at fault and awarded a huge
settlement to either have the award vastly reduced or
the entire case tossed out.
