COST/BENEFIT RATIO FOR CIRCUMCISION
According to a 1994 article by Dr. Stephen Moses in the
Journal of Epidemiology, uncircumcised men are 3 to 4 times as
susceptible to HIV infection as compared to circumcised men.
The chance of "complications" (such as local infection,
bleeding, or damage to the penis) is 1 in 500, according to an
article in the 6/19/96 New York Times.
