I'm ZC since October 8th 1994 with 2 re-elections. The lastone I have no
specific date anymore though it will exist in Fidonews-archives. I have an
election-manifesto draft from May 2000, so it must have been a little bit
later than that.

Believe me on thisone, I'm not troubled by a ZC-election on a "1 sysop
1 vote" basis for these reasons:
 
1) I will not be organising and therefor will not be chastised by the RC's
   for attempting to violate P4
2) I will not be a candidate and passing the torch to another ZC will most
   likely be the last message I'll ever write in the network prior to closing
   shop, whenever that will be. There must come an end to everything some
   time.
