DON DEL GRANDE: I was going to toss a coin, similar to what they did in a
WCW house show in San Francisco in 1988 (they were the last two in the
ring in a Bunkhouse Stampede), but it seemed to be in poor taste to rate
the recently-deceased Hawk as "most deteriorated"... however, after their
last appearance on RAW, how could I not vote for these two shadows of
their former selves?

HACK-MAN: For Most Deteriorated Wrestler, I naturally want to put
Undertaker, HHH, and Hogan, but all three of those were really bad last
year and haven't really got any worse this year. I went with Roddy Piper,
Kevin Nash, and Kid Kash since they all were just shadows of their former
selves.

C FRARACCI: Kevin Nash is just sad now. He can barely walk without getting
hurt, he had a limited moveset to begin with, but is worse then ever now.
He needs to just retire now and live off the glory of Diesel, when he was
awesome. Shane Douglas has just fallen apart over the years. Undertaker
looks his age and I think the man should retire in 2004 before he becomes
a joke like Hogan, Piper and Nash. I'd rather remember Taker as the man
who can kick ass, then the man who looks like he's in pain after every
match.

PAUL ZOROVICH: It's hard to picture Scott Steiner as someone who used to
be actually mobile and exciting. Steve Austin is a caricature now, and if
Jeff Hardy can still walk as I write this it's a miracle.

BIGDADDYLOCO: A lot of those guys have been declining for years, but
nobody has fallen off the map faster than Shane Douglas. Not to mention
the man is wrestling in a shirt to cover up what we really don't want to
see, but know is there.

JON RICHARDSON: Jeff Hardy wins for managing to go from "innovator of
offense" to "drugged up and almost killing himself in the ring" in the
space of a few months. Undertaker gets #2 because he can barely even be
carried anymore, while Nash gets #3. Nash would be higher, but there just
isn't that much left to deteriorate anymore.

CRIMEFIGHTER: Good lord, what happened to Scott Steiner? He's a LONG way
from best years as tag champ with Rick, his foot and bad back prevents him
from doing a Frankensteiner ever again. It seems he traded in his
wrestling ability for extreme muscles. And the decline began as soon as
he joined the NWO and it's NEVER recovered. Little Porker Punk had
incredible ring rust in those matches against Triple H. Roddy Piper
should stay retired, Kevin Nash SHOULD retire.

YNAE316: Scott Steiner. It's hard to believe that he was at one time one
of the most innovative and respected workers in the world. Triple H makes
my list. He can still go in the ring, but like I said, not at the level
that a champion should. Jeff Hardy makes my list for old-times sake.

JOSH MANN: I think it's safe to say that now we know who the talent of the
Hardy Boyz was...Jeff was very well protected in that he had Matt to cover
for his deficiencies and was able to work to the big spots. On his
own...whether it's a combination of him being exposed, whatever he's on or
him just not caring, he's fallen the farthest as opposed to the bigger
guys who usually win this category who weren't very good to begin with.

SCOTT CHRIST: It's been said a billion times for many years, but it's so
hard to believe Scott Steiner is the same guy as the Scott Steiner from
the early 90s. Shane Douglas PUKED IN A MATCH. I saw Sabu a few times this
year and he is just awful, which is sad.

STEFAN TORNGREN: I feel a little unfair putting Austin here, seeing as one
of his matches was a ***1/2 affair against The Rock. However, he is not
half as entertaining as he once was, so he is my #1. Steiner is a solid
#2, and Vince got #3, not based on his work in the ring, but on his
character.

CHRISTOPHER SHEA: RVD may not be physically deteriorated, but he surely
has deteriorated in other ways.

RICK SCAIA: Roddy Piper leads the pack. Seeing him wrestle was
(predictably) a bit of a chore, but what hurt the most was that, outside
of one scintillating exchange with Vince McMahon, his mic work was
struggling to even reach mediocre. Jeff Hardy and Sabu also make the
list, both as shadow's of their former show-stealing selves (albeit with
different things taking their tolls on their bodies and performances).

RYAN FAULCONER: I know its probably not Chris Benoit's fault but he
deserves mention here anyway.
