Hi, Alan... AI>I ran that door years ago on my dial up BBS. Does it use fossil? If AI>so your good to go, if not.. Some doors need a /F or ??? to use the AI>fossil. A lot of really good DreamWare doors don't have any fossil AI>support so they can't be used on a telnet BBS. It does require a fossil, and has that capability. I noted several other replies on this, but I haven't gotten to them yet. Doug Rhea, at bbsfiles.com, hopes to eventually port the DreamWare doors over to where they can run under telnet. Another "alternative" is that Stephen Hurd (Deuce), one of the Synchronet Sysops/programmers that assists developer Rob Swindell, is working on a utility that'd allow these non-fossil doors to run under telnet (that's what he has told me). However, I don't know when this will be ready. But, I'd love to add the Dreamware doors, and several others to the BBS...the lack of a fossil driver right now is the main drawback.
