G'day Owen,
When talking to about ACAR Rod Gasson you spoke about new users
through garage sales.(I've tried to quote the relevant passages but my
QWKRR or my 128d is not letting me do it).
I'm a member of a Commodore user group in Melb. that is on its last
legs. It used to be th Waverley User group but has now merged with
Doncaster to form the Eastern Suburbs Commodore Group. Those new
users are just the people we (and dare I say other User Groups need to
target for membership). Could you help in this respect by promoting
ours (and others) User Group? My group is at the moment changing
venues and meeting night, so it might be best to provide a contact name
and number. The best person to contact in this instance would be Geoff
Travers, his number is 03 800 1223.
I've sort of taken on the job of publicity officer and I shall be
pursuing the local papers but as you seem to have the target audience
yours must have to be the best avenue to reach these people.
I'm sure you would have our gratitude if you are able to assist in some
way.
BFN.
Reece.
