I've only ever had it in Maniwaki about 45 years ago and then in my
own kitchen.

My usual cheat for canned beans is extra molasses, tomato sauce
and/or ketchup, prepared mustard and a wee bit of hot sauce. and
sometimes sliced up wieners.
