Hello Paul,
JT> Ask and yay shall receive. I'll file attach FILES.HTM, and RFC976.TXT &
JT> RFC1137.TXT. Files is the WHOLE rfc list in htm format, all are available
JT> via the web, I'm working on getting the lot here, only up to 851 so far,
JT> (and a few more actually).
JT> RFC976.TXT is the UUCP protocol format, and RFC1137.TXT is an update for
JT> that rfc.
JT> RFC1137 also relates to RFC822,
PE> Ok thanks, that's all available for FREQ from here now. The UUCP one
PE> doesn't look like what I was expecting to see. I was expecting to see
PE> it have state tables and the like, and what protocols you can use
PE> (e.g. zmodem) etc. However, I checked your index file, and that's the
PE> only mention of uucp. I'll try asking later on tonight. BFN. Paul.
Um, I thought that what was in it as well. I found the index file rather
cryptic at times, and you really have to read through all of it to get the
complete idea of what is available.
I don't think it uses Zmodem, but another type of protocol, but you may be
able to adapt it so it can, or at least if it uses a "common" protocol, you
can set up telix scripts to do it as well.
