It's been a long time since I've seen Mario posts. But you must understand 
their are a lot of lurkers and people who utilize this echo to rant and rave 
and espouse their personal "anti-drug" views. (Which is their right - and 
since I am the moderator I allow quite a bit of leeway on posts here unbless 
it REALLY gets out of hand.
Like the last guy who posted "fuck off" - hopefully he was having a bad hair 
day and will ease up on his language and utilize this echo for what it was 
designed for. I didn't jump down his thorat and threaten banishment or even 
ask him to refrain from using poor language.
Hopefully he has the maturity to do that himself - after 3x I'll get a little 
heavy. As the moderator I can pretty much do what I damn please - up to and 
including having his access to this echo cut off - but I'd prefer not to play 
Bill Clinton and hope that "peer pressure" and reflection will make a person 
realize he has stepped out of line or could use better phrasing in his 
language (even though the word "fuck" IS in the dictionary in our local 
library. And sad to say this term has become an accepted "standard" in the 
idiomatic usage of language today and it not nearly as shocking as it was 40 
years ago or so.

You have to understand that the major media news is COMPLETELY controlled by 
the US gov't. It is an accepted fact that ALL major news media and magazines 
etc have CIA "operatives" in a position of policy making - which effectively 
"kills" any type of stories or news that would be an embarassment to the 
gov't (at least for the most part).
This is one reason the CIA recently requested Congress to amend its charter 
to allow clery and journalists to be used as CIA "informants". Basically 
killing the prtoected client/clergy privilege used by the above.

It appears certain police chiefs and other policy makers are now lobbying 
VERY heavily for the use of mj as "medicine". Over 75% of the American people 
believe mj should be used for medicinal purposes on the recommendation of 
their physician.
Clearly the people want the law changed - the US gov't must continue the 
deception about mj or else their whole house of cards on the WOD comes 
tumbling down. and with CIA assistance in smuggling heroin,coke and other 
drugs into the US it is to their advantage to keep it illegal so they can 
continue to make illegla drug profits to fund their covert operations.

Probably will be a god idea as the Net is totally open and EVERYTHING you 
post is saved (on ALL newsgroups) and every Web site you visit is also 
logged. All newgroups from March/April 1995 on are archived by the gov't for 
future use.

I must admit (Dateline?) did a show several weeks ago on farmers growing mj 
so that they would not lose their farms and property. It was quite evenly 
balanced and I was quite shocked to see a pretty UNBIASED report on this.
