NP> I heard that Seagate are expected to release a 2 gig Hard drive NP> in March for about $525.00 That should solve your backup NP> problems for a while, and for a lot less that The $1K you were NP> considering. (25 cents a meg is cheap) Dollars/meg is the wrong way to calculate it. Only dickheads like Paul use that. The right price to pay for a hard drive is $300. That way, you can sell it in 2 years for $100 and it's $2/week. Time is money, as they say, and my hard drive is 5 cents per hour. If we calculate it Paul's way, as 25 cents a meg, you lose 5 meg an hour. ROFL! Regards, Bob ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 @EOT: ---* Origin: Precision Nonsense, Sydney (3:711/934.12) SEEN-BY: 711/934 |
