I'm getting tired of your propensity for turning every topic into a gay
rights issue. I'm an atheist, straight and still married to a lesbian,
having found out what she was up to about three years ago due to her
clumsiness with the family computer. I learned that she had never been in
love with me and that I was for procreation and financial support, and that
I wasn't very good at either. I was essentially celibate since my son's
birth and hadn't a clue why. I tried to hold the household together for my
son's sake until he would be ready for college. My wife, despite our
agreement, spent two years since my discovery poisoning my son's mind (who
didn't know about his mom), slandering me to her on-line coven (blabbing
anything I might conceivably find embarrassing), and making life as
miserable and tense for me in the house as possible.
I moved out last September and will be divorced shortly. My son knows now
why I moved out from his mother, the brave gay rights activist who marches
on Washington, but is too chickenshit to tell her own mother. My inlaws
seem to have assumed that I'm a worthless philanderer who can't be bothered
to support his family -- they also don't know who's paying the lion's share
of the expensed back at the house, as his son does live there.
Where the hell is MY tres chic support group and marches?
If you're so fucking hot on gay marriage ("civil union"), move
here to Vermont. A word of warning, however: welcome to gay divorce.
